Technology grant opportunities
Laptops, SMARTboards and engaging course curriculum bring math and science to life for thousands of Missouri students, due to the work of the Missouri METS Coalition. Since 2007, the Missouri METS Coalition, working with eMINTS (enhancing Missouri’s Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies) and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), has secured more than $4 million dollars to place cutting edge technology and professional development in more than 100 Missouri classrooms. In addition to state support, the Missouri METS Coalition has also engaged private funding for the technology initiative. In 2008, Bank of America donated more than $100,000 to support the technology initiative of the Missouri METS Coalition.
